Null's Brawl v68.279 Update: Nori, Wendy & Ramen Rebellion — What's New

On this page

Supercell’s official June 2026 release notes are out. Meanwhile, the Null’s Brawl v68.279 update brings one of the biggest content waves Brawl Stars has shipped. Specifically, it includes two connected seasons, a brand-new NanoPowers/Fusion progression layer, two new brawlers, and a full official balance patch. Here’s what’s actually in it, straight from Supercell’s own patch notes rather than a mirror site’s summary. Below, you’ll also find where Null’s Brawl’s own build currently stands.

What’s New at a Glance

The headline list for the Null’s Brawl v68.279 update, straight from Supercell’s official release notes:

  • Nori (Legendary assassin) arrived with Season 52 in late June; Wendy (Mythic support) follows a month later with Season 53 — they’re staggered, not simultaneous.
  • A two-season connected story, NanoNoodles (Season 52) and Windstock (Season 53), running nine weeks total.
  • NanoPowers (106 of them) in Season 52, replaced by Fusions in Season 53 — same pool size, different mechanic.
  • New modes: Combat Cooking, Food Fight, Mecha Guard, Topple the Tower, and Daily Contests — plus three new nano-infused boss fights (Nori, Tara, Brock).
  • Buffies reworks for Rico, Brock, 8-Bit, Meg, Max, and Surge, plus new Hypercharges for Starr Nova and Bolt.
  • A full official balance patch — 17 buffs, 14 nerfs, 3 general changes, plus separate Brawl Arena scaling adjustments — and two new seasonal skin collections.

Update, July 15, 2026: this is no longer a wait. The Null’s Brawl v68.279 update shipped with both Nori and Wendy from day one, not staggered the way the official game rolled them out. Each brawler already has its own Buffies attached, too. The Android and iOS files are live on this mod’s page now — we scan them the same way as every other build here.

NanoDrops, NanoPowers, and Fusions — the progression layer covered below — aren’t part of this build yet. The private-server side is still building them, and they may land in a later update within the v68.279 track rather than at launch. We’re not attaching a date to that until there’s an actual build to point to.

That’s the practical breakdown — if you’d rather just pick a favorite, vote for Nori or Wendy instead.

Nori is the child of Kenji and Kaze. He’s also the first brawler Starr Park itself ever produced, which is officially where his powers come from. He’s a Legendary assassin who fights with a fishing rod.

Main Attack — Fishing Fury

A tap is a forward slash. Charging it casts the rod as a hook instead — the longer the charge, the farther it reaches. Landing the hook pulls Nori toward whatever it caught, dashing straight through the target for damage. At maximum charge, he vaults clean over a wall instead. Every hit with the main attack also catches a fish, and those fish power his other abilities.

Super — Catch of the Day

Nori dives underwater and resurfaces for an area hit after a short delay, consuming every fish he’s banked in the process. Each fish adds 5% to the Super’s size and 4% to its damage. As a result, a well-fed Super lands considerably harder than an empty one.

Gadgets

  • Sushi Snack — eats up to 3 banked fish to heal 1,000 HP per fish (12s cooldown).
  • Gonna Need a Bigger Net — an aimed net that roots the first brawler it hits for 1.25 seconds and deals 800 damage (20s cooldown).

Star Powers

  • Big Haul — instantly catches 3 fish whenever the Super hits an enemy brawler.
  • His Mother’s Son — grants +20% speed for 1 second on every main-attack hit.

Wendy used to work for NanoStarr, a corporate lab, until she saw the environmental damage its tech was causing. So she left and built Windstock instead. She’s a Mythic support who can walk over water. Her shields also charge her own Super whenever they absorb damage.

Main Attack — Blow Dryer

Fires a blast dealing 2,400 damage to an enemy, while giving Wendy herself 1,386 shield. Aim it at a teammate instead, though, and it hands them 2,000 shield rather than doing damage.

Super — Planet Protector

Deploys a shield generator that absorbs 75% of the damage Wendy and any teammates take while standing inside its range. As a result, it’s a strong tool for holding an objective as a group.

Gadgets

  • Wind-Powered — a platform boost that jumps Wendy a short distance (15s cooldown).
  • Green Grenade — a wind grenade that slows every enemy it hits and briefly stops their healing (15s cooldown).

Star Powers

  • Slowing Shield — enemies standing inside her shield generator are slowed.
  • Solar Shield — the shield generator gains an extra 2,000 health.

An automated noodle shop opens across from Kenji and Kaze’s sushi restaurant. Their son Nori’s curiosity about it kicks off the story. Notably, Supercell is treating it as one continuous narrative across two seasons rather than two separate content drops.

NanoPowers (Season 52)

You earn NanoDrops from daily wins, mega quests, boss fights, side quests, contests, and creator QR codes, and each one unlocks a NanoPower — a per-brawler power-up. There are 106 NanoPowers total, across four rarities: Baseline, Augmented, Cybernetic, and Quantum. Once you’ve unlocked one for a brawler, it becomes active automatically in featured event modes. Specifically, at the start of an eligible match, the game offers you 1 of 2 random Power options to equip for that game.

Fusions (Season 53)

Smoothie Drops take over from NanoDrops once Windstock starts, unlocking the same pool size — 106 Fusions across the same four rarities. The difference is the match-start mechanic. Instead of picking one Power, the game randomly fuses two of your unlocked Powers together for that match, so both apply at once. Even so, any NanoPowers a brawler already has keep working through Windstock — a Fusion just replaces them when the game rolls one.

New Game Modes

  • Combat Cooking (PvE) — one team of 3 has three orders to fill before time runs out, gathering ingredients while three types of enemy guard the delivery bots.
  • Food Fight (PvP) — two teams of 3 race to complete the same three orders; ties go to sudden-death overtime.
  • Mecha Guard (PvE) — a team carries and charges a battery for Meg’s Mecha while fighting off waves of enemies. Then they take on a giant boss with the fully-charged Mecha at their side.
  • Topple the Tower — a daily 5-floor climb (needs 8+ unlocked brawlers, or 325 trophies) with a curated pool of 5-12 maxed-out brawlers. Win a floor and that brawler locks in as you advance. Lose, and the pool loses that brawler instead. One tower per day; clearing all 5 without a loss earns the “Unbeatable” title.
  • Daily Contests — a daily refresh of 3 game-mode choices with limited attempts, replacing the old Katana Kingdom Contests format.
  • Three new nano-infused boss fights: Nori (fish companions and fishing-pole dashes), Tara (shadow clones and black holes), and Brock (rocket barrages).

On top of the new modes, two full trios got Buffies reworks to their Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharges: Rico, Brock, and 8-Bit (the Arcade Trio), plus Meg, Max, and Surge (the Super City Trio). Separately, Starr Nova and Bolt each picked up their first Hypercharge.

These numbers come straight from Supercell’s own release notes, not a third-party estimate. Brawlers whose main-attack damage changed keep the same number of hits needed to charge their Super, unless a note says otherwise.

Season 52 (NanoNoodles): Master Mico (plus two Brawl Pass chroma variants), Tickoyaki, Fighter Berry, a Cyberpunk-themed J Young line with two chromas, Cyber Shelly, Tech Tara, and a Nano Nori skin.

Season 53 (Windstock): Biotech Byron with two chromas, Grizzled Kenji, Energized Sprout, a Retrofuture Rosa line with two chromas, Windstock Gray, and Turbine Moe.

Outside the two seasons: an Adidas Ash collaboration skin, a Cyber Brock Ranked-track line, three Mega Mecha Meg Hypercharge color variants, and new True Gold/Silver skins for Damian, Starr Nova, and Bolt.

Straight from the official patch notes: a Trophy Rush overlay glitch, a Duels exploit that let players manipulate bot matches toward Prestige 5, and a fix for a bug where disabling Pins also silenced team chat for other players. Several brawler-specific fixes landed too. Nani’s aim indicator now passes through walls again, and Starr Nova’s second Gadget correctly goes on cooldown when interrupted. Other fixes cover a Colette Hypercharge crash after death, Ruffs’ Air Superiority bonus-damage math, and Otis’ Super Starfish no longer attaching to spawn-immune brawlers. Rounding things out: Gray’s Fake Injury Star Power at boosted max health, Mortis’ Creepy Harvest healing off his own level instead of the target’s, a bug that set Lola’s base damage to 150% by mistake, a mismatched Colette Super aim indicator, and a Daily Streaks progress bug.

Is the Null’s Brawl v68.279 Update Safe to Download?

Yes — we scan every downloadable file on this mod’s page locally with ClamAV before publishing it, including the current v68.279 Android and iOS builds. The mod page also shows the scan verdict, the signature database version, and the file’s hash, so you can check them yourself instead of taking our word for it.

Does the Null’s Brawl v68.279 Update Include NanoPowers or Fusions?

Not yet. Nori and Wendy are in, each with their own Buffies, but the NanoDrops/NanoPowers/Fusions progression layer is still being built on the private-server side. It may arrive in a later update inside the v68.279 track — there’s no fixed date for that yet.

Will I lose my progress when I update?

No, as long as you link your account with Null’s Connect (in Settings) before updating. Sign back in with the same Null’s Connect credentials afterward and your brawlers, resources, and unlocks all carry over.

Do I need to unlock Nori and Wendy myself?

No. Null’s Brawl unlocks and maxes out every brawler automatically, including both of these, as soon as the matching update lands. No grinding or in-game currency required, either.
