Ghoul Stars Asset Overview

The Ghoul Stars asset is a visual patch for Null’s Brawl, not a standalone mod — it replaces brawler models, lobby and loading-screen backgrounds, and in-game music with a Tokyo Ghoul and Dota 2-themed set, using Tokyo Ghoul’s opening theme “Unravel” as the lobby track. It only works through Null’s Brawl’s built-in Assets Installer, so Null’s Brawl needs to already be installed on your device before you download it.

Because it changes files locally on your device, the asset is purely cosmetic for you — other players on the same server still see the default models, so it doesn’t affect matchmaking or gameplay balance.

Version Compatibility — Read Before Downloading

NullsBrawlAssets files are tied to a specific Null’s Brawl version — an asset built for an older version won’t apply correctly on a newer install, and vice versa. The Ghoul Stars asset on this page is built for Null’s Brawl v67.264, and as of this writing we haven’t found a v68-compatible Ghoul Stars release anywhere yet, so v67.264 is still the newest version available. If you’ve already installed the current Null’s Brawl build (v68.279), don’t worry — that page also offers a previous-version download, and v67.264 is available there too. Grab that build instead of the latest one if you want this asset to work.

Ghoul Stars is one of several asset patches available for Null’s Brawl — China Skin (China server-exclusive skins, pins, sprays, and profile icons), No Outline (removes the brawler outline), Minecraft (pixelated Minecraft-style graphics), and HDR Brawl (enhanced HDR-style graphics). You can combine any of these with Ghoul Stars as long as they don’t modify the same content — if two assets change the same thing, like brawler models, only the last one you install takes effect.

How to Install the Ghoul Stars Asset

1. Download the .NullsBrawlAssets file from this page.
2. Make sure Null’s Brawl v67.264 is installed — use the previous-version download on the Null’s Brawl page if you already have a newer build.
3. Open the downloaded file — it should open directly with Null’s Brawl’s built-in Assets Installer.
4. Accept the prompt and tap Install to apply it.

If your file manager shows “Can’t open file” or “Unsupported file format” instead of offering Null’s Brawl, that’s a file manager issue, not a game issue — try a third-party file manager from the Play Store instead of your device’s default one.
