Ex Brawl Team Launches Arcane Brawl

Where Ex Brawl chases the newest official Brawl Stars build as quickly as it can, Arcane Brawl is built around the opposite idea. It stays on an older, classic-feeling version of the game and puts more weight on stability and original seasonal content than on constant version churn.

The developers describe the project as a place for players who miss the older days of Brawl Stars. That framing matters: Arcane Brawl is not trying to replace Ex Brawl, and it should not be treated as the next Ex Brawl update.

Arcane Brawl is already past its first real content drop. A pirate-themed seasonal update moved the server to roughly the v24 era, and by July 20, 2026 the team had also added its own account-linking system.

That account-linking feature works in the same general direction as Supercell ID: players can tie progress to an email address so it can be recovered on a new device or after reinstalling. It is still Arcane Brawl’s own system, not a connection to an official Supercell account.

Arcane Brawl currently targets Android, with separate builds for ARM32 and ARM64 devices. There is no confirmed iOS build to list for this project right now.

The project is announced through the same team channel that covers Ex Brawl, so players following Ex Brawl updates may have already seen Arcane Brawl posts mixed into the same update stream.

The clean way to think about Arcane Brawl is simple: same team, different server. Its older-client focus, separate progression, and separate Android builds make it a distinct project rather than another Ex Brawl release row.

That is why Brawlers Cloud tracks it as its own mod page instead of folding it into Ex Brawl’s update history.
